An effective healthy skin care regime is important to your overall health and well being. It seems however, that every product that is now available on the market requires more and more outlay of money over time.

What many people do not realize is that there are many effective skin care aids all around us, including natural vitamins, for healthy skin. And the best part of this is that you can easily find these products in your kitchen, supermarket or garden – and they don’t cost an arm and a leg.

The following outline some healthy fruits for your skin:

•	Apple Juice – This makes a great remedy for many problems including small wrinkles, cracked skin, itchiness and minor inflammation. Not only that, but apples can be used as a very good toner and conditioner as well. In fact, they have been used for centuries by people making use of the skin healing power.

If you want to give your skin a good cleansing and soften it up, add a cup of apple juice to your bath water. The juice can also act as an effective breath freshener if in a pinch. When using it as a final rinse after washing your hair, it can prevent dandruff. That is a whole lot of uses for one simple fruit!

•	Apricots – If you are suffering from a sunburn, eczema or itchiness, using the fresh juice from apricots can provide relief.

•	Avocado – You can create a great facial mask out of avocado.

•	Banana – You can also make a great, inexpensive facial mask out of bananas.

•	Cucumber – If you are suffering from skin break outs or skin that is turning white, cucumber can work great. Not only that, but it works to prevent pimples, blackheads and other blemishes as well as wrinkles and dry skin.

•	Guava – Boiled guava leaves can work as a natural antiseptic for skin.

•	Lemons – Lemons have been used for years as an ingredient in beauty products. They are used for cleansing the skin and freshening hair. Lemon slices rubbed on rough patches of skin like the elbows and heels can be a great remedy.

Using a few teaspoons of lemon juice in your bath water will help you feel fresh for the rest of the day. Lemon juice is also great when added to your favourite skin cleanser or shampoo to refresh and prevent dandruff.

•	Lime – Lime juice is very important in any beauty regime. Using it can help keep you looking young and beautiful. It also works very well to get rid of pimples. Some other uses it is known for include improving rough, dry skin; improving a lacklustre and shiny complexion; controlling oily skin; helping to relieve tired eyes and even removing freckles.

•	Mango – Working the same as guava, boiled mango leaves can be used as an effective antiseptic.

•	Orange – Using orange juice paste can help to get rid of pimples and acne. Orange juice also works great for scar removal and getting rid of blemishes.

•	Papaya – Both orange and green papaya works to get rid of whiteheads, boils and other blemishes and spots. Since it also contains the enzyme papain, is works great for whitening the skin.

•	Peach – Peach skins are reputed to work in improving overall complexion, and can also be made into a cream to prevent wrinkles.

•	Pineapple – Pineapple works very well as a skin softener that also cleans and revives dull, dry skin. It works especially well for classic rough spots of skin like the areas on the elbows, heels and knees.

•	Pomegranate – A paste made out of roasted pomegranate skin works very well for treating all blemishes such as pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, as well as boils.

•	Strawberries – These work great as a skin toner and conditioner. They are full of salicylic acid, which is found in many of the commercial creams that are on the market for acne. This is one of the best treatments for teenage skin.

Healthy skin care is crucial to your well being and your overall health. Taking good care of your skin using natural products is a great way to save some money while looking and feeling your best.

Our skin is one of the most important features we have, and is in fact the largest vital organ in our bodies. Proper care of our skin is crucial to our overall feelings of health and well being, and when it is feeling unhealthy it can cause other body systems to feel less than perfect.

Caring for our skin isn’t just a beauty concern – it is important to our whole body system functions. The first step to proper care of your skin is understanding the different skin types, and deciding where you fall.

There are 5 types of skin:

Normal Skin – This is the kind of skin that everyone would love to have, the healthiest type of skin. It isn’t too oily, not too dry, has very few (if any) blemishes, is firm and smooth with very small pores. When you pull the skin away from the bone of the face it will bounce back to the normal position easily. Any lines and wrinkles that are showing are appropriate for the person’s age.

Dry Skin – Dry skin can be due to exposure to harsh elements in the environment, and even just from lack of water. Skin can end up flaking off and causing a feeling of tightness in the face. It may be lacking natural oils, look flaky with only small pores, blackheads and blemishes showing. Dry skin can easily end up becoming chapped without enough moisture. As this type of skin ages, it will be more prone to becoming wrinkly than other skin types.

Oily Skin – They texture of this skin is thick and may look oily, often feeling sticky to touch. There may be recurring blackheads and acne, as well as having large pores. This type of skin is generally youthful looking because of the constant presence of oil on the skin. Those with oily skin will generally have a tendency to end up with acne in their teens and middle years, and develop overgrown oil glands (sebaceous hyperplasia) in their middle to later years.

Combination Skin – This will vary according to particular skin type. This skin has a kind of “split personality”, and is characterized by an oily T-zone, (the area of skin stretching from forehead to nose and chin), and dry to normal skin on the cheeks and areas around the eyes.

Sensitive Skin – People who have sensitive skin are most apt to suffer from allergies, rash, stinging as well as burns. It will get irritated easily and tends to get very red and blotchy a lot of the time. Environmental factors can cause a lot more trouble to those with sensitive skin, and cosmetics can often cause irritation.

Make sure you understand what categories of skin types you fall into so that you can do your best to take good care of it.

Out of the many acne solutions that are available on the market today, Acnezine has proven itself to be a leader in offering effective treatment. The product formerly went under the name Acuzine, and it has been receiving very good reviews by users.

Acnezine differs from other acne products in that it is an herbal acne treatment that is made from specially selected antioxidants. Antioxidants are able to repair damage to skin, and promote healthy cell growth.

While topical treatments cure work only on the outside of the skin, Acnezine goes to work from the inside-out. It is for this reason that it is so much more effective than other treatments. It treats inflammation, redness of the skin and eliminates pimples, whiteheads and blackheads. All cases, from mild to severe, are able to be treated.

As an added benefit, Acnezine can also work to make wrinkles almost vanish, and improve your overall complexion. And, since it is a natural treatment, there appear to be no major side effects to the skin of body when taking it.

Click here to see the ingredients in Acnezine

Take A Look At How Acnezine Works

Typical treatments for acne are topical, which means they are applied directly to the skin. They normally contain benzoyl peroxide, which will kill the Probionibacterium acnes bacteria. They may be effective in getting rid of acne on the surface, but they can end up causing redness and irritation.

Because of these issues, these treatments are normally only used short-term. Acnezine differs from most treatments because it works on the inside, and focuses on two of the main factors that contribute to the development of acne.

What are the 2 Major Contributing Factors To Acne?

1.	Hormonal Imbalance

Hormonal imbalances can happen whenever your liver is overworked, or when you are going through puberty. The liver works to maintain a hormonal balance, but this can be disturbed when it is overburdened. Also, as teenagers reach puberty, hormones will be in turmoil.

When the body is dealing with a hormone imbalance, some hormones such as androgen can trigger an over-production of sebum oil. This oil will clog the pores and cause acne flare-ups.

There are strong enzymes and antioxidants used in the Acnezine formula which work to neutralize toxins, and strengthen your immunity against certain bacteria. The hormonal balance can be restored because the load on your liver will be lowered, and there will be less sebum oil being produced by your skin.

2.	Free Radicals

Free radicals are essentially toxins in your body, which are combated with antioxidants. These free radicals can cause serious damage to your skin, contributing to conditions such as acne, aging, wrinkles and infections.

The manufacturer of Acnezine points out that it contains herbs that are rich in antioxidants which can work to help control the free radicals in your body. Acne can be prevented, not just treated.

Click here to see how Acnezine work

Reviews By Acnezine Users

It is always important to research any product before buying it, and that includes looking for reviews by others who have already tried it. We have conducted some research on our own by going through various acne forums and treatment review sites, and come up with a basic consensus about the product.

Basing findings on 87 votes, Acnezine scores as follows:

How well does it work?

5 out of 10

Agreeability

6 out of 10

Affordability

5 out of 10

There are obviously different results reported for all users, indicating that some people will be able to see a dramatic difference in their skin quickly, while other will hardly see any difference at all.

Similar to all other acne treatments that are available, Acnezine may not work for everyone. Every person has a different body make-up and skin condition, which may influence how well the treatment works for you.

User testimonials from Acnezine

However, Acnezine is a very good option to consider, because of the fact that it goes to work on the root cause of the problem, helping to prevent future problems – not just clearing up the problem short-term.

As much as we may like to, we cannot guarantee that Acnezine will work for you. But, we can tell you that you have nothing to lose by giving it a try. You are completely covered by a 180 day, full money back guarantee if you try it and it does not work for you. Your money will be gladly refunded, no questions asked.

So, our advice is to give it a try and see what Acnezine can do for you!

“Different acne treatments that cleanse your skin effectively”

One of the most widespread and common skin disorders in the world is acne. At least 85 percent of teenagers go through years of suffering with it – and in the United States alone, there are close to 60 million people dealing with this problem.

So, it is no wonder that there has been a surge in the market of acne treatments that are being promoted by experts. How can you know which ones will really work though?

Here are some basic natural acne solutions that we have put together for you to keep in mind and try:

•	Make sure you wash your face at least 2 times a day – 3 at the most. Only use cleansers that are gentle and contain no perfumes. Do not use soaps because they may contain harsh ingredients that can actually do more damage to your skin than good.

•	Try to avoid having to touch your face. You may not even realize how many times a day you actually put your hands to your face, but it is very common. Even when just sitting and thinking, you will often have your hand bracing your chin.

Do not rub, touch or scratch your skin because there are a lot of bacteria on your hands that can result in acne flare-ups. Since we are not aware of the times we are unconsciously touching our faces, this can be a hard thing to avoid.

Try making it a habit and become more conscious of when you are touching your skin.

•	Never pick or squeeze a blemish! Everyone does it, but it is never recommended to do this because it can actually send the infection deeper into the skin. This can result in serious scarring.

•	You can use topical over the counter ointments and lotions or gels for mild to moderate acne. Try using ones that contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or azelaic acid.

The best at killing P. Acnes is benzoyl peroxide because it can reduce oil production. Blackheads and whiteheads can be broken up with ingredients like resorcinol, salicylic acid and sulphur.

•	Another great natural antibiotic and antibacterial solution, which dries the skin, is tea tree oil. It will decrease facial oiliness, eliminating the bacteria that causes acne.

•	Sulfur will unblock the pores which will help to heal blemishes that are already present.

•	Using products with Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA or BHA) will work to keep the skin exfoliated. One common adjuvant therapy for mild acne is glycolic acid, while Mandelic acid is less known, but may actually be less irritating for those with sensitive skin.

Mandelic acid combines the keratolytic properties of glycolic acid with more natural properties. It can actually work well to treat mild cases of acne by itself, and can be combined with other treatments for acne that is more severe.

Obviously, all of the ingredients and treatments discussed here are for treating cases of mild to moderate acne. There can often be a delay between beginning treatment before seeing any results – anywhere from several weeks up to three to six months.

More serious conditions of acne require the help of a dermatologist, so do not hesitate to consult with your doctor about possible acne treatments that will work for you.

“How to cleanse your skin”

Not only is your skin the largest organ in your body, covering you from head to toe, but it is also a very significant part of your overall body’s defense system. That is why a cleansing skin care routine is vital for a healthier body and feeling of general wellness.

The skin works 24 hours a day, every day of your life, protecting you against infection. It acts as the first line of defense against anything that tries to attack your health. So, you can see why it is so important to look after your skin and help keep it performing at its best.

Not only that, but by looking after your skin now, making sure you keep it clean and healthy, you will also help to prevent any future problems like skin cancer or wrinkles. It may seem like it doesn’t need to concern you yet, but rest assured that time will come upon you faster than you can prepare for it.

Proper hygiene should be a part of our daily lives, in all aspects. That includes keeping ourselves clean and feeling our best, in order to promote better health and well-being. Here are some tips which demonstrate how to incorporate a cleansing skin care routine into your life:

1. Start simple
You do not need expensive cleaners to look after your skin well. There are many natural, organic skin care products available which work great and are inexpensive.

2. Begin early
Don’t keep putting it off, waiting for a better time. If you want to have healthy skin as you age, you need to start now. You will never be too young to begin a good skin care regime, but you can be too late. Look after and treat your skin well so that it will keep looking and feeling its best as you get older.

3. Use only lukewarm water
Water that is too hot will dehydrate your skin, leaving it open to more damage, and you can even end up scalding or burning your face. On the other hand, water that is too cold will dry out your skin.

4. Use mild cleansers
Avoid the harsh cleansers that are composed of strong chemicals which can dissolve your skin’s natural proteins and oils. These ultimately do more harm than good. Facial cleansing products should be as chemical-free as possible.

Use natural, organic skin care cleansers if you can. Never use deodorant soaps on your face because they use harsh ingredients and can leave you with a film on your skin that can irritate it and clog your pores.

5. Tone it
Toning is good to help keep the skin clear and feeling firm. The best ones to use are ones which contain alpha hydroxyl acids and glycolic. Never use the ones that are made with alcohol or are marked photosensitive.

6. Clean gently
Scrubbing your skin raw to ensure it is clean is not necessary at all, and can actually damage or tear the skin. Exfoliation is good to use to get rid of dead skin cells, just don’t overdo it and hurt your skin more than helping it.

7. Moisturize it
Moisturizers are necessary to prevent the loss of water in your skin. They work by either drawing moisture to the outer layer of skin, or coat the surface of the skin with a film that seals in the natural moisture. The best moisturizers to use are those with pure vitamin E or Aloe Vera oil.

The oil can be found in liquid form or inside a capsule which you can break open and apply directly to the skin. Since under the eyes is one of the first spots to show signs of aging, these oils can be a wonderful treatment for this sensitive skin.

Start your cleansing skin care routine as early as you can!

Deciding to follow a cleansing skin care routine early on is vital to maintaining your healthy skin and your overall wellness. Find products that work well for you, and follow through with your skin care plans every day, so that you can ensure you have healthy skin for life.

There are so many competing cosmetic products on the market, it can be easy to become tired and confused with all of the choices. Do you wonder what product is the best for your skin, to provide you with a cleansing skin care routine that will keep your skin looking and feeling its best?

If you worry about the amount of money you are spending on searching for the great product these big companies are constantly pushing on the market, you aren’t alone. It can be very disheartening to actually sit down and figure out how much each trip to the drugstore is costing.

Who hasn’t wasted money on a product promising to cleanse, tone, moisturize or exfoliate our skin? We all have those bottles lined up in our medicine cabinets, playing testament to the fact that we have tried many that have not followed through on what they were promising. But, the truth is, it doesn’t need to be that difficult.

There are so many natural skin care remedies out there which provide far more benefit which are nowhere near as expensive as those bottles sitting around collecting dust. In fact, some of these ingredients you may already have in your refrigerator or kitchen!

Easy, Natural Skin Care Remedies That Will Help Keep Your Skin Healthy & Beautiful

1.	Take one egg, a heaping teaspoon of mayonnaise and a tablespoon of honey. Mix these ingredients together well and apply sparingly to the skin. Let it dry, then wipe it off using a lukewarm cloth.

2.	Take 1 tablespoon of yeast, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of water. Once these ingredients are mixed together, put it onto your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

3.	For this one, you need 1 tablespoon of gram flour, ¼ of a teaspoon of orange peel powder, 1 tablespoon of beaten yogurt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Again, mix the ingredients and apply to face and neck. Let it dry then rinse first with some warm water, then cold.

4.	Apply slices of cucumbers to eyes to refresh them and alleviate puffiness. They are also great cleansers when sliced and rubbed over the skin on your face. Sliced tomatoes are also good for this.

5.	Take ¼ of a teaspoon of lime juice, stirring to mix with one teaspoon of mile and cucumber juice. Put this mixture onto the face and neck, washing off after about 14 minutes. This works great to clean and purify the pores in your skin.

6.	This paste is made by mixing together papaya, honey, milk and milk powder. Cover the skin on your face and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it off.

7.	Take ½ a teaspoon of rose water mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply this mixture gently to your face. Let it sit for about 15 – 20 minutes, then wash off with tepid water. Since honey moisturizes and soothes dry skin, it is gentle enough to be used every day.

It isn’t necessary to waste money on products that may not work, just to have beautiful skin. The next time you want to treat your skin to a spa like feel, try one of these natural skin care remedies, which are inexpensive and completely natural. You will feel rejuvenated, and your skin will feel brand new!

“Do You Know these 9 Most Common Myths of Acne?”

If you have ever asked others for advice, or if they have any particular acne tip they think you could use regarding your own acne, you may have heard many common myths about acne – including being due to poor hygiene, poor diet or even that you are in love!

Thankfully, experts are able to dismiss these claims as nothing more than myths. Educating yourself with accurate acne information is the best way to cope with your particular situation, so we have decided to compile a list of the most common myths that people suffering with acne will come across.

1. Acne is caused by poor hygiene. It has been widely believed that acne is caused by less than perfect hygiene, and many have even gone so far as to over-wash their skin in order to fight against this idea. But, washing too frequently and aggressively can strip the natural lipids from the skin, which will damage the natural barrier function of the skin.

In order to respond to this, the follicle will end up producing excess sebum, possibly leading to even more breakouts. So, the best advice you can take is that unless you get your face extremely dirty on a regular basis, you really should not over-wash your face.

2. Certain foods can cause acne. We have all heard that eating junk food will make our problems with acne even worse, leading to more breakouts. But, scientific studies have actually shown that diet has little to no effect whatsoever on acne. Of course, this will vary depending on the person.

While it is advisable to eat a healthy diet for our overall health, there really is no supporting scientific evidence that connects any certain foods to acne. If you do find that there are some foods that you believe make your skin worse, you can simply avoid them.

3. You will outgrow your acne. Does it not make a whole lot more sense to treat your acne while it is happening, than to go through emotional stress and risk permanent scarring?

4. You don’t need to overreact – acne isn’t a big problem. There is no doubt about it – it is embarrassing to have acne, and this can affect our confidence and self-esteem. It can even affect our social relationships and future job performance if it has become a major concern in your life.

5. Acne is just a cosmetic ailment. Acne breakouts may be contributed to by wearing heavy and oily makeup, but proper cleansing can help. Cosmetics that are labelled non-comedogenic or non-acnegenic may actually contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid that can help to fight against acne.

6. Stress causes acne. Stress does produce hormones that can aggravate acne, but normal every day stress does not cause acne breakouts.

7. Sex and masturbation causes acne. There is absolutely no connection found in any research to support the claim that acne is related to sexual intercourse or masturbation. In fact, it is believed that this idea began as a “tale” in the 17th century to try discouraging premarital sex.

8. Squeezing and popping pimples is a good way to get rid of them. Doing this can actually push germs underneath your skin, which in turn can cause more redness, pain and even infection. You need to remember that popping pimples can lead to permanent scarring.

9. Getting a tan will clear up acne. Sun exposure will dry up existing acne, but it won’t prevent new pimples from forming. Not to mention that it can over dry your skin, meaning that your sebaceous glands will start producing more oil – ultimately worsening your condition. You will also increase your risk of skin cancer and wrinkles due to sun exposure.

So, the next time someone says they have an acne tip to share with you, make sure you remember what you have learned. Keep reading up and researching acne information so you can be sure of the best way to care for your condition. Always keep in mind that knowledge is power.

“Understanding different types of Acne”

There are many definitions related to acne that contain various terms that are generally unknown and not understood by the general public. There are also various ways of defining differing types of acne, which is why we have decided to provide a list of terms that you will see being mentioned on our website.

We want to be sure that you are able to completely understand the information we are providing for you, without leaving you guessing about any of the meanings.

Pustule: A pustule is considered a small, inflamed elevation on the skin that is filled with pus, and that is normally composed of a combination of white blood cells, dead skin cells, as well as bacteria. If a pustule forms over a sebaceous follicle, it will usually contain a hair in the middle. Acne pustules that are able to heal before going on to become a cyst will generally not leave any scars.

Papule: A papule has been defined as a small, (at least 5 millimeters or less), solid, and usually inflamed bulge on the skin that does not have any pus inside. It is possible to find groups of very small papules and micro-comedones that are not actually visible, but can be felt by touch. A papule is caused by a cellular reaction during the progress of the disease.

Lesion: A lesion is defined as a localized, pathological change in a bodily organ or tissue. Lesions can be external, (as in acne, skin cancer, psoriatic plaque or a knife cut), or internal, (such as lung cancer, arteriosclerosis in a blood vessel, or cirrhosis of the liver).

Therefore, when referring to acne lesions, we understand that there is a change in the skin which is caused by the disease. Some types of lesions include comedones (whiteheads or blackheads), nodules and cysts.

Comedo (plural comedones): A “comedo” is a sebaceous follicle that has become clogged by sebum, dead cells from inside the follicle, tiny hairs or even bacteria. If a comedo is open at the top, it will generally be considered a “blackhead” since the upper layer has a black hue.

A closed comedo on the other hand, is usually referred to as a “whitehead” since it appears to be skin-color, and possibly slightly inflamed with a white center. The “whitehead” will have a different color because of the opening of the follicle on the skin’s surface being closed or narrow. You need to remember to hold back from popping or squeezing either of these at any time.

Only a dermatologist can perform a process like this under sterile conditions. It is entirely possible to injure tissue by picking at them, which can lead to other infections due to staphylococci, streptococci, and other bacteria.

Nodule: A nodule is a large, deeply seated, pus-filled and often painful lump, which is considered to be the most severe form of acne lesions. Those who are affected by nodules will most often be scarred for life. Treatment by a physician is generally required.

Macule: A macule is the simplest dermatological lesion which is left from a healed acne lesion, and is usually red or reddish-pink with a well-defined border. A macule can last for days or even weeks before completely disappearing. Sometimes, if several macules are found together at the same time, it can lead to the appearance of having an inflamed face.

Cyst: A cyst is defined as a closed sac or capsule that is filled with a fluid or semi-solid material – normally white blood cells, dead cells and bacteria. When oil ducts become clogged and infected, leading to a localized infection, it results in what is called cystic acne.

Recommended treatment involves avoiding irritants on the face, such as many cleansers and makeup, and in more severe cases, steroids, antibiotics or other medications may be required. The only really effective treatment for cystic acne involves systemic therapy with isotretinoin. Severe cases of cystic acne will cause permanent scarring.

As mentioned, there are many varying types of acne, and it is important to understand exactly what each means if you are wanting to find an effective treatment for your own acne.

The market of consumers searching for the best acne products is huge, and since there are so many products promising to clear your acne, not to mention the health magazines advertising support for the next trendy cure, we decided to conduct our own research to see what we could uncover.

Our findings actually showed us that most products that are being promoted are either using ineffective ingredients, which do nothing to clear your skin for the long term, or they are made up of strong chemicals that aren’t good for your skin.

One example we found is the ProActive acne cream, which contains Benzoyl Peroxide. This is a strong substance that has been known to cause rashes, skin irritation and crusting. The best advice we can offer you is to stay away from anything like this that can actually be hazardous to your health.

We were able to find one skin cleansing system which we have no trouble recommending, due to the quality of its ingredients and safety record. There are many happy customers, none of which have ever complained of any side effects. It is considered an herbal acne treatment, and it is the ClearPores System.

What is the ClearPores System?

The ClearPores System is made up of:

- Deep facial and body washes,
- A herbal supplement, and
- Protective creams for the face and body.

The best way to understand how ClearPores works, is to realize that you are not only using a single product. You are, in fact, putting a whole system to work for you that is designed to take care of all of the aspects that make up your acne problem.

To give a basic explanation of how acne is caused, it is an increase in sebum production which ends up clogging the pores on your skin. This allows bacteria to flourish inside the sebaceous follicle.

This is why it is so important to focus on several different fronts at the same time, meaning you want to open the pores, cleanse the skin and destroy the underlying bacteria.
